You have 25 posts. 0-49 = Junior member.

And no, it's not a reason to make 25 more posts just to change your custom title.

It's like this just cuz it's hard to have it consider both time and number of posts. That would open up many more possible titles which is hard to figure out good names for some of them.

It's a goofy system, and in most cases it doesn't really tell you anything about the poster. I'm still a junior and I've been here longer than some of the Major Dudes and Senior Members, originally signing up back in '00 or '99. I lost my original user name during an inactive period and had to make up a new one.

I think it would be fair when a post to a General Discussions forum thread would count as 0.5 posts. In this way a member that offer technical assistance would be ranked relatively higher than someone who talks about the weather most of the time. (Like me :p )
