Not a car one, but a nice motorcycle (http://idiot.ath.cx/ssj4/topend_turbo%20busa.wmv) one.

If only I understood gear ratios completly and could find a MPH/RPM ratio in it's top gear, I could find out what it's true top speed is, since the revs were still climbing even as the speedo needle hit the listed max 220mph.
Either way, a Suzuki Hayabusa's too fast for me...A Yamaha YZF-R6 is fine enough, and I don't have to worry about crashing at 200+mph since it can't even do that much in the first place... :D

There's this thing called drag. ;)
Anyway, if that's the infamous wheelie to 100 MPH Hayabusa video which I assume it is, then I estimate it hit around 240 MPH. I hear it's top speed is about 250 MPH...

That was awesome! We have a lake here near Idaho Springs where people do that. It's fun to watch, but I'm too much of a chickenshit to try it.

DAMN! I am hoping they where TRYING to do that.
I rented a Subaru once, it has like 17,000 miles on it (thats a damn lot for a rental car), and it was PURE SHIT! The brakes where shot, the suspention sucked, and it had poor preformace (unless you got the turbo to kick in, then it was good)
So... for their safty, that better not be stock...

17,000 or 170,000??? 17,000 doesnt seem like much at all
yeah that turbo dilly is the i forget what its called but it has a name. you have to get up to a certain rpm to get it workin.

turbo lag. not RPM dependent, it takes a second or so at full throttle to get the turbo up to speed.
My mom has a subaru (99 outback) with close to 100k on it and it's never had a major problem. They handle real nice.

140k miles on it, and still runs excellent. I've opened it up to 118 MPH on a straightaway. :D
I am very happy with my '92 Subaru, and hope to buy another when I need to.
However, I recently ran into a spot of bad luck. Very heavy rain caused my tires to slip off the road into very slick mud, so I was sliding around just as the WRX was. Only problem was that there happened to be a pole in my general path of destruction. It didn't cause too much damage, just a small wound in front of the drivers side door. :(
Body shop wants $530 to repair it.

i thought it was rpm dependent because we were going up this hill and had to stop and we put it into gear and we couldnt just gas it or we would stall so we had to go up the hill really slowly.
