What do you mean "on the internet?" wouldn't this be better suited for the tech forums?

I do have a firewall but its idle right now. Quote: "WWWinamp is a simple web server-like application that allows remote control
of Winamp via any web browser. WWWinamp manages a database of files and/or URLs that can be queued into a running Winamp." doesnt that mean that i can have my music over the internet?

ummm.. It wont stream it on demand over the internet, its just so you can remote control winamp, like if you had the pc on the other side of the room you could control it via your web browser instead of getting off your ass iirc

yes, its not actually used for streaming music. all it does is allow you to control your winamp...

i used to have a setup, where i ran a shoutcast server, along with WWWinamp....that was, i could listen to the shoutcast stream, and control the music at the same time.
