I work doing a lot of network/computer support stuff for a local planetarium in my old school system. The latest thing I implemented was an MP3 playback system, using winamp, for their walk-in and just general music for the entire department.
They've got a matrix distribution system that allows them to take five AV inputs and have four outputs, each allowing to view any of the five available sources. On one source, #1, we have the audio from WinAmp playing back. This way, any TV hooked up to the Matrix system can hear the Walk-in music (MP3 music). What we want to do, however, is add a new card to the system soon that allows dual output/S-Video output. We want to have, on the output, the track title and artist information displayed out so that we can feed this back into the Matrix system. That way, when you're watching source #1, you can hear the music, and also know who it is, as well as the track title.
I searched around for a good hour today and couldn't find anything on WinAmp's plugins, nor on google. Is anyone aware of a program or plugin that would do this? I'm not a huge coder, so I doubt I could pull that off with the SDK.
