is it possible to get a similar dsp unix version (sc_trans) besides from nullsoft to connect the sc_serv?

cuz nullsoft unix version ate much of my server memory and it only allow 44 khz mp3 to be played, thanks

i'm Windows user, i have a dedicated server, and currently running sc_serv, i would like to run my shoutcast 24/7, i try to download and run sc_trans on my dedi but it ate lots of memory, i want to save my dedi server memory and space, anyone could help me out? please...
