Robert Palmer???? Jaysus guys! I've been reading your threads and thinking I'd found a forum full of folk with taste...I may not like/heard some of the stuff, but taste...and now you lay Rpbert Palmer and Power Station on me....

taste is personal - no discussion about it- if you don't like certain artist then don't post threads on that item

Nope, sorry back again. Did anyone see the last interview? Pretenous pratt, thats what he was! His career took off when he was filmed fronting a band of bra-less models pretending to play instruments...says alot about him that does.
He sung some nice songs, the really good songs were cover versions done better by the original artists.
As the Stereo MC's said..."if you want a true picture, refer to the artists sketch"

I suppose spaceplayradio made this thread out of respect for someone who just died.
Was never much into the man, but if I had to choose a fave song it'd be:
Every Kinda People (1978)
though he also did an ok version of Hendrix's "Angel" with Vinegar Joe back in '72.
