Correct.

Orff was one of classical music's one hit wonders; he never wrote another viable piece and did what all unsuccessful people do- went into teaching.

I would like to add Verdi's Requiem- it is to Powerful as Mozart's is to Profound. And I am so happy that I have Mozart's Requiem to look forward to come Next Year as part of my orchestra season! :) :) :)

And lest we forget all of the great oratorios of the past- shining above them all are Handel's Messiah (From which we get the Hallelujah Chorus and The Trumpet shall Sound), Solomon, Isreal in Egypt, etc etc. Bach, Mendellsohn, and other composers have also written great oratorios.
