What are your fave acoustic tracks?? A few:

Gun - Taking on the World
Kings of Convenience - Sing Softly to Me
Tom Petty - Falling
The The - The Whisperers

I promise not to look at Music O Rama now until 2.00pm GMT (my desk is sinking).

Mercury Rev - Frittering.

A beast of a track - starts with a strum, erupts into a soundscape. Far better than anything Mogwai have done to-date. I'll stick this in the recommendations thread.:)

I think that Steven Speak's Passenger Seat has a nice melody and is quit a good track. It's not released here in the U.S. but I've heard it over seas.

I haven't heard alot of Acoustic Guitar tracks. Well I have, I just don't remember them.

The ones that I do remember are the Godsmack tracks, they're pretty good acoustic style.

Ditto. I find myself digging deep already - but then I've only been awake for half an hour.

Mew - Snowflake (acoustics strumming like a chainsaw all the way through)
Mega City Four - Anne Bancroft (a strum here, a strum there, acoustics, electrics, acoustics again)

Good to see someone likes Tim Buckley, I'd add 'Wayfaring Stranger' to the list.

Fantasia Suite- Al Di Meola/John McLaughlin/Paco De Lucia
Anything from 'Friday Night in San Francisco' really.

Yesterday
dear Prudence
Mother Nature's Son
Wild Honey Pie
etc etc. The Beatles. You get the picture. From what I hear, a lot of the songs are basic. Which means if I wasn't so fucking lazy, I could play them.

Mull Historical Society - Mull Historical Society.

Infectious to the core that song (it should be banned).
