Y do my mp3's go berserk after a few seconds?

They'll play for about 10 to 15 seconds, then it's like a crazy keyboard and the bitrates count down - it's weird.

Did you download them off of Kazaa? They are corrupt files then.

maybe they are government mp3 and are corrupt.

i recently have downloaded a few files like that (2-3). hopefully it isn't some government thing. that being said, i think they are just corrupt.

RIAA plants corrupt files on Kazaa of the more popular files. Due to the weakness of Kazaa's hashing technique and multiple source download you can download the song and have it messed up in one part, download it again and have it messed in a totally different part. But Piracy is bad, and stuff. Plus you should be using K++ and update the blocked IP list regularly or try expand your horizons beyond Kazaa.

well, k++ is def my engine of choice. how do you update the ip list? i just upgraded to the newest k++ version and haven't messsed with it much. the last lite version i used was from like two years ago and i didn't update till recently.
