The ridicule does not stem from your love of "boy bands," it derives from your incessant mentioning of them in every single one of your posts. You make no attempt to post about anything but them. If you would broaden your topics, such as politics, social matters, or just issues that do not regard boy bands, the criticism and mockery would almost assuredly decline.
