I've read a few posts on this player, and I like the idea of being able to play mov and rm formats without having to install Quicktime and Realplayer (they seem rather intrusive to me).

Does MPC handle either or both of these formats natively? Or do I have to download Quicktime Alternative and/or Real Alternative? I read that Real Alternative still needs RealPlayer installed? This would seem pointless.

Does MPC work correctly with bsplayer or zoom installed? I read there was a problem with Quicktime Alternative stealing the avi and other extensions. I'd like to keep using my primary media player for everything other than Quicktime and Real Video formats. (Now if I could just decide between bsplayer and zoom... ;))

Thanks!
P.S. A new build of MPC was released on the 25th.

Been having a bit of trouble with the latest build (6.4.7.0). Full screen is offset and seems to be pushed down and to the right.

Anyone else get this.

My alignment is fine as well. I actually like this player a lot -- simple and plays all the formats I throw at it. I'll probably use it as my primary video player and not bother with bsplayer or zoom.

Btw, can MPC handle SVCD/DVD format? Do I need codec for that (I believe a codec is needed for the official WMP)? Would I be better off just using WinDVD or PowerDVD for that purpose?

Thanks again.
