would be nice if winamp5 would import and sort by ID3 and put them in folders by artist and album (iTunes did this and it was glorious).

for example, if i open a file on my desktop called 01-lord_of_the_rings-a_storm_is_coming-ph.mp3 it would be moved by ID3 into my media library folder... so it would go from this:

C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Desktop/01-lord_of_the_rings-a_storm_is_coming-ph.mp3

(with an ID3 tag of Artist: Lord of the Rings, Album: Return of the King OST, Track: 01, Title: A Storm Is Coming)

to this:

D:/Music/Lord of the Rings/Return of the King OST/01 - A Storm is Coming.mp3

this makes it a lot easier for straightening up of a music collection, and it seems like it would be easy since the ID3 information is already there, mostly.

the second thing that would be nice is multiple file info change.... if i have a full album, and i want to set the genre for all 14 or so tracks, its annoying to have to do them all one by one.

I use TagScanner for all of what you just posted. If you're interested in checking it out, the link is here (http://xdev.narod*****index_e.htm).

Here is a screenshot to go with it...
