Context menu options

How about an option to select what context menu option that is to be added?

I would like to remove the add to bookmark context option.

Delete this regkey:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\Winamp.Bookmark

That will remove 'Add to Winamp's Bookmark List' for folder context menus.

For File Types:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Winamp.File\shell\ListBookmark


Though methinks your wish could well be on the horizon ;)

i figured i would put this in here since it seems to be the only topic about the windows context menu. Pleeease give the option to cascade the context menu's. if you dont know what i'm talking about, WinRAR and winzip have this as an option as well as many other programs. (hkSFV for example also does it with a nice icon http://www.big-o-software.com/products/hksfv/)

I don't understand why you asked what you did. There is already cascading in Winamp's context menu, specifically for these options...

All of them have cascading submenus, so I do not understand your point.

I'm pretty sure that iron2000 is asking to have JTFE added as a menu option, but it's already there, as part of the cascade under Playback...
Playback > Jump to file

So again, I don't understand exactly why iron2000 is asking about this (unless he's referring to having an option to place/move JTFE at another level in the menu hierarchy via user interaction/choice).

Err, I think they are talking about the context menu in Windows Explorer. iron2000 probably wants a submenu in that context menu containing all Winamp entries (like Add to bookmarks, Enqueue in Winamp, Play in Winamp). An option to have the entries appear in the main context menu or in a Winamp submenu (in Explorer), just like you can with the Jump to File entries in the playlist editor context menu (in Winamp).
So it doesn't have anything to do with JTFE, it was just a comparison I guess.

the impression i got especially from the post by Egg was configuration over the external menu entries and not in the main player right click menu.

*shrugs* since a main player right click menu is going in and also there's the effective external add to queue menu option (enqueue & play) that jtfe has implemented so i'm sort of covered either way at least now :)

Well... I have an excuse (I guess).
I was up all damned night long packing things away, boxing 'em up, bagging them, disassembling furniture, etc. in anticipation of the U-Haul I'm renting today to move this crap to the new apartment.

Aaarg!!! That damned Ikea crap furniture I had to assemble 2 years ago had to be disassembled. Can't get any of it through a 30 inch doorway. Grrrr... :mad:

Yup, siebe is right.

I'm talking about the right-click context menu items that appear when you right-click on mp3 files and folders.

JTFE has an option to remove, rearrange and cascade the PL context menu items so I'm suggesting if Winamp could use an option like that to customize the right-click context menu items Winamp adds to Explorer.

Actually I wanted to post a new bug report but on searching I found that post and decided to add on.
That bug was not in the known bugs post so I thought that it was ignored.
