I am unable to connect. At the bottom of nullsoft it states "no source". Along with this event log. Any ideas on how I can solve this issue?

Are you behind a firewall or router?

I am not behind a firewall. I am only useing win xp, with a broadband connection. I have winamp 2.9, useing nullsoft, etc. I've used this before, but for some reason, no dice now.

Looks like the port is in use.

I noticed when I look at the shoutcast source via winamp, it attempts to connect to "output 1" then it disconnects.

Your getting no errors when you try to connect from the DSP?
Are you putting in the same info that matches your configuration file?

Did you change the DNAS variables srcIP and destIP from ANY?
Is your DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo on the same machine?
What exactly are you entering for "Address" and "Port" in the DSP?
SHAWON
31st December 2003, 16:43
Not exactly certain what that means. Output configuration is address=www.shoutcast.com. There is no option for station id. Port is 8000. And ID I never touched. Encorder is set at 1. It just attempts to connect, but never does.

If the DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo are on the same machine, then use "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" or "the lan ip of the DNAS if you're on a lan" (without the quotes) as the Address in the DSP.
If the DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo are on different machines but on the same lan, then use the lan ip of the DNAS as the Address in the DSP.
Else, use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS as the Address in the DSP.
Finally, if you've changed the DNAS variables SrcIP and/or DestIP please set them back to "ANY" (without the quotes) unless you have more than 1 real, world-visible ip address for the DNAS machine or you know exactly wht you are doing.

"yp added me" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been added to the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) directory.
"yp touched" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been updated in the SHOUTcast yp directory.
It can take up to 15 minutes after the first "yp touched" message before your station appears from a SHOUTcast yp search.

Please post a link for testing.
Link using this format: http://yourIP:yourPORT/listen.pls
Replace "yourIP" with your IP (which you can find here (http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_tools/whereami.php)) and "yourPORT" your portbase defined by your DNAS (server) config file. The default is 8000.
If you have a dynamic IP, you can get a static name at www.no-ip.com.

 It appears to be working.
Just give that link to your potential listeners.
