i know that when i log off my computer and log back on i get a new IP addy. So a constant link from my website won't work unless i leave my computer on 24 / 7, which will happen in the future as soon as i get my other computer up and running. but untill then, is there a way of getting a constant link or maybe even a fixed IP addy.

You can get a static name, such as foo.bar.com (not as cool as that, though :)) from http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other myriad of Dynamic DNS Services (http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Address_Management/Dynamic_DNS_Services/).
Then, your links would be:
DNAS link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport/listen.pls

Note: Be sure to download the No-IP.com Dynamic DNS update client (http://www.no-ip.com/downloads.php).

I haven't played around with it too much yet, but I believe that you must register and then download the program that I linked above. The program updates the site with your new IP everytime that it is changed.

Once you sign for the no ip site service, your ip changes are detected and your link will always point to the new ip.
Auto.
