Torque, is it 3 Fast 3 Furious?

by all accounts, the upcoming movie torque, looks like a sequel to the "fast and the furious" movies... ugh!

it is done by the same director or producers or who ever, but by all means, they just changed the cars into motorbikes!!!

Sportbikes and motorcycles put out more horsepower than torque, so the title choosen for this movie is kinda stupid when related to what it's about...

OMG! I bet the last race in the movie is a 10-second Japanese crotch rocket that barely beats a 9-second Harley pro-modified drag bike in a drag race, all while they excape the doom of this ricer hurling their way at the finish line, putting drama on both racer's lives in those 53 seconds or less... :rolleyes: :p

wow, how original. those dudes (drectors and crap) must really have been really streching themselves to come up with the concept for this movie. and they're gonna have to work so hard for it! it's like nothing they've done before! i wish i was a hardworking, intelligent and talented as them.

Me and my dad went and seen "Torque" today, since we were bored...Since it's from the same director as "The Fast And The Furious", I would have guessed it would be basically just that on two wheels...

Well, it kinda was...As with "2 Fast 2 Furious", it actually had a plot of some sort, set in and near L.A., CL, where the main character (Ford) is framed for the murder of a member from a street gang called The Reapers by the leader of a hog gang (Henry) and the FBI is on his tail for the crime...But Ford has to convince both the cops and the leader of the Reapers ("T") that it wasn't his doing in order to clear his name, and to get back at Henry...Cliché, but there was alot of action and chase scenes to keep me entertained...And the movie isn't really based around racing at all...The only actual "race" scene is in the beginning of the movie, where 2 ricers (An Eclipse and RSX, if anyone cares) are racing out in the desert...The chase scenes are a bit far-fetched at times, but it's only a movie...And yes, the "NOS spray into the engine" CGs are there too... :p

And for the record: The last chase scene is with Ford on this really fast super bike (Didn't catch the name, but it's supposivly powered by a helicopter Rolls-Royce rotary engine) (The "Supra") and Henry on a nitrous-injected Harley (The "Charger")...The bad guy dies when both bikes crash into each other, and no, I did not time the whole scene... :rolleyes:

And yes, I liked it... :D
