It seems that in this day and age there are just so many ideals that people are supposed to live up to that nobody can ever be happy with who they are. Girls are either too fat or their breasts too small, guys are too short, or have not enough muscles. Both sexes can never seem to dress appropriately. This world-wide culture has left people feeling down about themselves, and must look to others for approval or acceptance.

I say instead of this, instead of "stroking" each other, let's stroke ourselves for once. What I want is for everyone to list something, or many things for that matter, that they are happy with about themselves. On that note, I shall start.

I am proud of the fact that I am not afraid to speak my mind. Secondly I am proud that I am not too proud to ask others for help or at least their opinions on things.

Ok, here's my more serious post:

I love being a mom, even though at times it can be the hardest thing to be at times.

I'm a good friend, loyal to those that mean the most to me. I'm also very, hmmm, I guess protective, say what you want of me, no biggie, but you go after a loved one or friend and it's on.

I can laugh at myself, I'm far from perfect, and have way too many blonde moments (no insult intended to any blondes here).

I can appreciate the quiet moments, where no words are needed.

But, I think the best "feature", is my sense of humor. How else would I have survived here? ;)
