Pray Tell What Did I Do To Get Banned?

Yeah. So I go to join #winamp because I'm bored and I feel like going there. I don't know.
So I'm banned, apparently. IP ban. A-kick or whatever, I don't care, it said 'address banned' and I want to know why. What did I do?

I don't really care, if you people don't want me in IRC, tell that to me to my face, please, then ban me. Don't go all gestapo and snicker behind my back and ban me. What the hell?

So can someone just tell me what's going on? If I'm banned, fine, whatever I did, whatever. I just wanna know so I can get on with my life.

WR: I don't know, but you have my sympathy. I have no clue about anything as to why you're banned. I truly am sorry for your situation, and I don't see any reason that WR should be yelled at for bitching (in this thread at least)...I know a lot of people in the forums wouldn't be nearly as civil if they were banned and had no clue why. I see nothing wrong with anything said by WR in this thread.

[edit]: it's a rule, but I think it was more intended to prevent people from turning the forums into a Jerry Springer-like situation. I think under the circumstances it's not really a serious issue as it does not directly address any single user or a personal problem or insult throwing---it's sort of a thread along the lines of "Chev's bad day from hell"---just griping about a situation that's made you upset. This doesn't seem to resemble something that could turn into a nasty situation
