1. Satisfying yourself (it's great, because you like it.)

2. Satisfying others (whether you like it or not, if others like it you're more than happy.)

For myself. Sometimes I draw pictures for people, but if they don't like it and I do, fuck that then. Don't care. I draw and write for me.

I've always viewsd art as something for personal enjoyment and satisfaction. Having others fond of your art is just a bonus.

I draw and write to fullfill me and my demands. Unless I'm working on a project for some one else, I could care less if others like my work or not.

Other people appreciating my art does motivate and boost my ego though.
