:igor: ehehehe good evening peeps!
Ok, well I wasn'r sure where to post this but smoke is my fav visulisation plugin at the mo so itll do i suppose.

How do I, for example, record a fullscreen or window of a visulisation and save it as an AVI or MPG file. Now if I had two computers I could output the TV out of one into the capture card on the ohter, run a fullscreen visulisation and capture it on the other. There are two problems with this,
I own a laptop and a P2 machine. Neither are cpable of holding a capture card, niehter has video out...

My purpose here is for doing a 'mockup music video' for school where by I can have my spangly visulisation in the back and superimpose sum gyratin ladies in the foreground, while the song plays, or something to that effect. Thats a typical application of this but, I have other plans....Got some outter limits stuff in the pipeline and the visuals u get from some songs r plain disturbing hehe.

So any ideas on that - is there a plugin that allows recording and saving as AVI, or otherwise - I'd be most greatful

If anyone has worked out a good system for capturing the output I also would be interested in hearing about it. I have Radeon 7500 and 9000 video boards on my machines. TIA

AVS is another visualisation program. Not sure of any decent video capture programs though...

maybe this (http://www.virtualdub.org/docs_capture) helps, at least for ATI users.
