I have imported my playlists into the media library in winamp 5.01 but after some moving of files around i remade some of the playlists. And now I'm up to my eye balls in playlist in the library. How do you delete a playlist from the library, all I've managed to do is clear them.
Cheers, Dave.

Right click on the Playlist name and Delete.

In Winamp 5.01 I can't see a way to right click on the play lists, they are selected from a drop down menu in the media library view menu. I tried going to '\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ml' and deleting the play list files there as suggested in another post for a similar problem, but when I went back to the view menu, the playlists are still all listed, but there are no songs in them.
I know right clicking and deleting seems simple, but I can't see where to do it.
More help please,
Cheers, Dave.

Didn't you say that you wanted to delete the Playlists from the ML? Do the right click on the list that's shown in the left hand panel of the ML.

If you want to delete the playlist entirely, you'll find them as .m3u files, usually in the Winamp folder. Delete them from there. I haven't tested this, but I think you'll still have to also delete them from the ML left pane via the right click > delete.

Aye!
Media Library -> Playlists -> (Playlist name) -> right click -> Delete Playlist
