Who do you guys consider a better actor- Steve Buscemi or John Turturro?

Well, the reason i'm asking this is because they are often compared actors, and would like to know what everyone else here thought? Who's more versatile and better at his craft? Obviously i realise, Steve Buscemi is far more popular and people know him more.

Well, first of all, this would be suited better in the movie forum I guess, it's only 2 forums below the GD ( :cry: No one notices it and I just want more people to post in there, started so many nice new threads...)

But back to your question: I'd have to go with Steve simply since I only have seen John in Anger Management - where he was playing really good but this one smaller role doesn't suffice for me to get a real opinion about him.

Now Steve was awesome as mister Pink in Reservoir Dogs, I'm still laughing about that whole name discussion :blah: It's also great how he tells the opening story in Desperado and there were several other movies he was in which I cannot recall right now and I'm too lazy to look up.

So yeah, I go with Steve but it might be only because of his populairty...and by the way, I never heard that those two were compared anywhere :confused:

Same with Mia, I've seen more of Steve's work, and can only barely think of what John looks like. And like Mia, I've never heard of the whole comparison bit.

The Monk Episode he was in
and he was in a couple others. I think they're both good, but Steve Buschemi is more popular. I like Tuturro a lot though, too.

oh man "The Big Lebowski" is one funny ass movie. Stupid, but soo funny. I vote for stevie. Was the only person with a hint of talent in Desperado. What a cheesy movie.

I'm sorry but The Big Lebowski is not stupid. I mean it wasn't insactly An Adam Sandler movie, now was it?
It's out there, and for most people probably doesn't make that much sense, but it's quite intelligent really for a comedy. Say you hated it, or didn't get it, but don't say it's stupid, because quite simply that's not the case.

sorry didnt mean it was stupid as in moronic, i meant stupid as in silly. I hear ya it was definatly a more complex movie, but nothing that made my brain hurt. Just a GOOD movie for a laugh, without being thoughtless.
