Is it possible to stream video from a winamp play list basicly the same way you stream music from winamp right out the DSP is there a plugin like the dsp that will let you just stream video right out of the play list like you do music.. The videos would already be encoded and right there in the list.

You can use Kens GUI for creating a NSV playlist and streaming that way. Winamp does not have any "dsp's" for NSV though.

yeah that is what I am currently using..... if I start a stream and then add more to the play list and click update play list it makes playlist1.nsv and basiclly does not show my updates.... just plays playlist.nsv

Yea, after I released it, I noticed there are some glitches that need to be worked out with extending the playlist. You can use camtasia do that with the Winamp playlist. Using this method could also allow using a request system like the one from oddsock

Yea sorry, I was rushed since the bell rang and I had to get to class. There is a program called camtasia (http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp) and it records your screen. If you disble hardware acceleration in the winamp settings, you can also record whatever video is playing in it. You can make a winamp playlist and set the camtasia to record the playback window. This is very CPU-intensive, so don't try unless you have a good computer.

Hi Ken,
Based on my observation I think your the best person to ask.
Iam not a winamp guru, I was just typing some ish, and I had my hand on the keyboard, whatever I pressed my media Library popullated stream music videos, I started to scroll down, and there is a shit load, they have good sound and video quality. All of them had two consecutive ones for 150kbs and 350, some of the videos had a short clip of Elvis instead of the actuall video.
My question, how to did I get there, how to I use this winamp feature?
Your response will be greatly appreaciated.

My question, how to did I get there, how to I use this winamp feature? That is the Winamp Media Library :
> Open Winamp and press the ALT and the L key at the same time. This will open a Winamp information box.
> You can select a listing of Winamp Video / Audio files
or
> Current list of stations broadcasting Audio / Video using NullSoft Shoutcast / NullSoft Video.

THanks for the replys,
Iam not smart, I am average...
I still dont know how to populate videos in my media library, this is something I did by accident ones. I went thru winamps music video collection, and I think it had way more in the media library when I was going down the list of videos available.
If anybody knows, please let me know.

Thanks for your help guys, but nevertheless no one could answer my question, perhaps I was not being clear, this is my last posting, please help!!!!!
While F*** around, I accidentally pressed something that got my media library populated with streaming music videos (I did not go to any web-site), they were hundreds of them that were available in both low and hi bandwidth. My question is, how do I get those dam streaming videos to populate in my media library without going to any websites? (step by step please, thanks). I know this exits because I’ve used it, for some reason nobody wants to tell me this on this forum, come on guys, is it really that big of a secret?

You're blind. We told you already. You cannot copy these videos to your hard drive, we did not mention this.
