I disabled my software firewall, my router firewall, and my modem firewall. There should be nothing stopping the signal..but when I or somebody else tries to connect to my IP with winamp (yes, correct port and all), it times out. Same thing happens when I put my ip in IE.

I checked to see if my modem is uploading anything...and its not. ???

Oh yeah, I can connect when i put in http://127.0.0.1:8000

So i guess it IS broadcasting, but something must be blocking it..but I dont know what it could be, everything is open.

Are you getting any error messages in the DNAS?

Please post a link for testing.

If you want other people to be able to connect to your station, you cannot use localhost (127.0.0.1), you can however, use your IP Address that is found HERE (http://www.whatismyip.com)

Hope this helps :)
