This would probably be really annoying to implement, but, in the skins section I thought it'd be great if the user could organize them by their most promanent colour. I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to choose skins to match my background. It is difficult to find the right match when you have to go through each one.
It's just an idea though, and since it'd probably be a lot of work to add the new sorting methods, and also since I'm probably the only one who'd ever use it, don't worry too much if ya won't do it. But you would make this one loyal winamp user happy!
I wonder if anyone else would use something like this...

Well, seeing as most modern skins have multiple color schemes (including the Winamp Modern skin and MMD3), that would be kind of hard. You should check out the Color Theme Editor in the Skinning>Modern section.

I'm sorry, I should have specified. Since I don't have the luxury of having an 'up to date' computer, I have to use winamp3, which doesn't include the modern skins. I know I know, I'm behind the times. :)

I should hope you're talking about Winamp2...

Winamp3 used way more resources than either 2 or 5 (even with modern skins). That's why it was retired from service (mercifully).

And even in you are talking about Winamp2, you really should upgrade to Winamp5. You can uncheck the components that take up CPU usage (like Modern Skin support, Visualizations, Video support, and the Media Library). If you download the "Lite" version, it's basically a bug-fixed Winamp 2.xx
