I have a couple of questions

What program do you use to make these things
How do you make the weird objects and LCD type
There are a lot of pics like these out on the internet. A LOT. Are they easy to make or something? Like the equivelant of Render clouds and extrude?

mr_007- the reason is because people always yell at me when i use 1024 x 768 because if their resolution is larger...then they can't use it...but if the picture is bigger...then it can be shrunken down.

fickle-this was a collaboration...so someone else made the 3d...and i did everything else. And yes it's hard...i still get criticism on this stuff...from people who are worse then me..that makes me mad...but it all just takes time...and experience. :) and no..it's not render clouds and extrude...no even close.

just because we can't make it doesn't mean we don't know wether or not it looks good. I am sure you can't act, yet you prbly talk with your friends about what movies are good and what suck, and I doubt you can code professionally, but you probly have an opinion on wether or not ms is better than a mac or verse visa.

Part of being a true artist is being able to take critisim from all sources and learn from it.

I agree with this. I can't rap, but I still know Vanilla Ice sucks. I can't play guitar, but I have a pretty good idea of what sucks and what doesn't. I can't make polished digital imagery, but I have a good eye for that type of thing.

You must accept criticism gratefully from all sources, as long as it is valid. Most of the people who will give you this are those who are can't do abstract.

yeah...your right...but still, when someone says...i dont like that thing in the middle..and they dont offer anything i can do to fix it or make it better...that makes me mad.
