i'm trying to create a makeshift "chromakeying" effect with powerpoint and milkdrop. Ive done it with windows media player/powerpoint - by setting the background colour of powerpoint to the WMP "key" colour (the colour you get when you try to print-screen WMP screen into paint - you cant get the image). By doing this, restoring WMP and then running the powerpoint show you can see "through" the slide to the video - all because the background of the slide is set to the applications key colour.
I would like todo this with Milkdrop, but when I print-screen into Paint, it just does a normal screen capture. I was therefore wondering if you could tell me what Milkdrop's "key colour" was, if it has one. I assume it uses this technique to put Milkdrop in the desktop.
If Milkdrop does not have a "key colour" (which I think it might not seeing as you can print-screen sucessfully into paint from it) then would you consider including an option tick box in future versions todo this, which would also disable taking screenshots from Milkdrop. This feature would be very useful to VJ's or anyone who does live shows.
