 Much much better than anything I could ever do.......my only suggestion is that maybe you could make the right leg + shoe look a little less......well....flat.

I don't like it. I like the shading, but anime is so easy to draw it's hilarious. If you can draw triangular hair, an oval face, and pointed shoes, you have just created the entire modern genre of anime. There are only a few good anime's out there, art and animation wise.
Be reminded (I have to do this to friends, too) that animation is not art. Animation is making the things that are drawn well move, and not one at a time. A good animated cartoon with make things move fluidly and not look like pokemon, that chopped mouth open/mouth close animation that makes my blood boil and demand to have the guy who invented it brought to me so I can shit on him.

Agreed. When people ask me if I like anime, I have to say yes because there is more than one movie and show done in anime that I enjoy. But the majority of it is absolute shit.

I draw anime, its probably the only thing I can draw.
I see what you mean I only like one seris of anime, the ones I have seen aren't good. I'm not saying all of them are crap because I've never seen episodes of them so I just like one seris.
One thing I'd like to say is that anime is easy to draw to some people, it depends on the person to how easy it is. We all varie in strengths of drawing, and whether we can draw.
