I want to broadcast serval mpg files, I tried to run nsvenc on all of them, and on some of them it encodes only the audio, now Winamp can play all the files as mpg without problem.

I tried to figure it out, and I think that the problem is the files are Xvid / DivX, is there a known problem encoding those files? is there a sulotion?

If they have mpeg extensions, I doubt they're Xvid/DivX. Chances are, they are MPEG2. Run a google search and get the Elecard MPEG2 codec and you should be able to encode the files (tho they will have a small watermark in the corner)

Well, I checked the files out and they are XViD, I know nothing about broadcasting, can someone please refere or write a manual how to encode XVid/DivX files.

Use Virtualdub to encode divx/xvid/mpeg2 to a uncompressed avi file, it will become a rather large avi file, but its gonna be fast encoding it to nsv format.

I know, but this sulotion has 2 problems:
1) It's gonna take tons of time to encode each file
2) each file is gonna take over 1.5GB...
I saw that there is a DivX encoder but I cant figure out how to use it.
