Hey if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated... When my "DJ" connects he gets knocked off of the server "Timeout" why is this?

<04/21/04@21:26:49> [source] icy-name:DJ Hy0 rockin it fo ya!!!! ; icy-genre:Little Bit of Everything
<04/21/04@21:26:49> [source] icy-pub:1 ; icy-br:24 ; icy-url:http://www.geocities.com/gamerzworldradio/
<04/21/04@21:26:49> [source] icy-irc:#GamerzRadioWorld ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:
<04/21/04@21:26:54> starting stream (UID: 10)[L: 1]{A: SHOUTcast Directory Tester}(P: 0)
<04/21/04@21:26:57> connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 10)[L: 0]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 0)
<04/21/04@21:27:05> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully
<04/21/04@21:27:36> [source] no data (30s timeout). disconnecting.

And I also have another problem when someone tries to connect to listen they say it is choppy and they are on cable.. They say that every 15 secs it buffers.. I also have cable.

Aloha DsK033!

What is the Winamp/DSP combo input method?

1. Go to Winamp and enable the SHOUTcast DSP.
2. Click the "Input" tab
3. Look at the "Input Configuration", "Input Device" section
4. Is it set at "Winamp (Recommended)" or "Soundcard"

If the former, then only mp3 can be used for the source.

As for the "choppiness", does the DNAS machine have enough upload bandwidth to serve the connected listsners?

I told him to use the Winamp (recommended) when he is playing songs and soundcard to talk when he is broadcasting... Right now we are testing something and at the moment it seems to be working... As for the other thing about the bandwith stuff I will have to get back to ya on that one. thx :)

We got rid of the nak error by unchecking the "Make the server public" and it seems to affect all the other problems also.
