Aloha vvman!
What is the Winamp/DSP combo input method?
1. Go to Winamp and enable the SHOUTcast DSP.
2. Click the "Input" tab
3. Look at the "Input Configuration", "Input Device" section
4. Is it set at "Winamp (Recommended)" or "Soundcard"
Please post a link to the DNAS.

Hi Fester Head
"Please post a link to the DNAS."
what does it mean?

Aloha vvman!
I'd like to check out your DNAS and see if titles are streaming.
DNAS link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport/listen.pls
Replace yourDNASip with the ip of the DNAS (SHOUTcast server) and yourDNASport with the DNAS port (default is 8000)
Example:
If your DNAS ip is 123.345.567.789 and your DNAS portBase is 2112, then your links would be:
DNAS link: http://123.345.567.789:2112
Listen link: http://123.345.567.789:2112/listen.pls
Also, if your router doesn't support local loopback then machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Please don't give out urls with 127.0.0.1 as the ip. That is a local loopback ip.
See RFC3330 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3330.html) for more information.
Please don't give out urls with 192.168.x.y or 10.x.y.z or 172.(16-31).x.y as the ip. That is a private lan ip.
See RFC1918 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1918.html) for more information. Scroll down and look for the section titled:
3. Private Address Space
How to find your ip address (Part I). (http://www.whatismyip.com)
How to find your ip address (Part II). (http://www.computerjohn*******misc_tips/how_to_find_ip_address.htm)
Finally, you can get a static name, such as foo.bar.com (not as cool as that, though :)) from http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other myriad of Dynamic DNS Services (http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Address_Management/Dynamic_DNS_Services/).
Then, your links would be:
DNAS link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport/listen.pls
Please read some polite advice. (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=1073288#post1073288)

I have the same problem, i have sc_trans_linux and sc_serv in the same machine.
I made the play.lst and it works very good at 320 kbps streaming but the problem is the name of the songs dont show. It seems like Sc_trans_linux cant send the name to sc_serv.
The log of sc_trans_linux drop me this
<04/23/04@15:58:49> [MAIN] Title Update Failed
<04/23/04@15:58:49> [MAIN] Title Update Failed
And i can see the name that i unpit in the sv_serv with the %s and it comes (Dbit Radio: N/A) when N/A is %s.
Please help!
