What movie scenes were so horrid or realistic that they made you physically uncomfortable (or led you to stop watching a movie) ?
Well, I have to say that I'm not easily scared by what I see but the "brain" scene in "Hannibal" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0212985/combined) was more than I could take. I should try and see it again but I'm sorta reluctant to :D
So, what are yours, people ?

I must say that since I was 14, I haven't seen any movie that made me want to stop watching it.
At this time, the only movie that made me sick was Bad Taste (by Peter Jackson).
For instance, for some "The Passion of Christ" was horrible, I watched it without closing my eyes.
The same for Irreversible (with Monica Bellucci). I remember when the movie went out, some people parted from the theatre after 10 minutes.
I am quite accustomed to these movies.

I have to turn my head when anyone cuts themselves or sticks a needle in thier arm. gah. Just thinking about it makes my spine shiver.
However, I watched the entirety of the chainsaw vs hot chick scene in Dawn of the Dead without flinching.
old and quite mad

I haven't had any make me turn away because the "realism" made me uncomfortable, but I have turned off several because they got boringly repetitious (All the Jason movies would be an excellent example.... is he gonna use the axe, the hatchet, or the knife? Oh! A spear. How novel.)

That was one of the winners for the all time dorkiest speeches or something like that.
I usually can stand a lot of sick parts of films, it doesn't bother me that much. Passion didn't bother me that much either.

That's probably the only scene that gave me the creeps (if I'm thinking the same scene you are thinking of).

Any movie by the name of Terminal Velocity, god awful movie.
most of the second half of requiem for a dream.
agreed.
Not the sort of thing you want to watch twice. Its not even that graphic, it just leaves you in a messed up brain-state for a day or two.

all childs play to the scene in Ichi the Killer where Sailor is getting the crap beat out of her by her lover.
the actress playing sailor did such a good job most people watching run out of the theater or break their tv.
other than that,
any Vin Deisel movie. worst actor ever!

The eye repair scene in Terminator, the impaled-through-the-mouth-with-the-T-1000's-arm scene in T2, and the finger scene from Mars Attacks! all made me squirm the first few times I saw them, but I've seen them enough now that I can handle it. It usually works that way with these types of things. If you see it enough, you become accustomed to it.

"The Evil Dead"
Just about the biggest B horror movie ever.
The actors act like they're from the Archies, they sever every part of the body imaginable, and there are some body fluids that they created that aren't even real! like some blue crap that was coming out of this one zombie's head when the other person jammed his thumbs into the zombie's eyballs....yeah that was a pretty painful scene to watch....
Oh yeah and that one part on the "Black Hole Sun" music video, where the lady is trying to cut the fish, and she has an abnormally big, creepy, sadistic smile....that part makes me cringe every time :igor:

The exorcist (sp)... The scene Where the little girl is bouncing and getting thrashed on her bed, and she turns her head so the whites of her eyes are facing the camera, and gives this spine tingling, Vocal cord melting, light growl as she turns her head away.
For the love of god. It sent the most innerving, Thick-needle-in-the-spinal-cord Tinge down my back, I couldnt watch it anymore, and havent gone back since.
