In the Milkdrop Configuration, Transitions tab, there are 4 info boxes. They are labeled "Time between auto preset changes," "Additional random time," "Auto preset blend time," and "User-solicited preset blend time." Can anyone tell me exactly how adjusting each of these will affect transitions?

Milkdrop can automatically change between presets...;
(When you don't [scroll]lock the preset!)
Time between: obvious;
Additional random time: some random value between 0 and the value you enter; // So it takes the time between + the random value as the time it will take to change presets
Auto preset blend time: the time it takes to blend;
User-solicited: when you press [space], it also blends (user-sollicited); // enter the time it has to take to blend when you press [space]
Hope this will help ;)

Thanks alot PieterP.
Hehe I was playing with these for a bit and didn't notice any significant effect after changing "additional random time" or "user solicited preset blend time." This is probably because a) I am a poor observer and b) I wasn't using the [space] command to change presets. :)
With this new knowledge I can customize the transition times to my heart's content!
On a related note, is there any way to change which kinds of transition are used? I notice that sometimes new presets appear to bubble out from the center, sometimes in left to right wipe, sometimes in a crossfade, etc... Can I select one of these to be used for every transition?
