Disclaimer: Do not read this thread if you do not want to know how horrible Mcdonalds is for you.

Think again before you buy your Bigmac with cheese meal.

http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_controller.nutrition.categories.nutrition.index.html

I just had a number four... a double quarter pounder with cheese meal... large fry, and medium drink.

Guess how many calories?

...

1500.

...

Seriously.

Take a look at how many calories you force down your food pipe when you eat your favorite meal. You may be unpleasently surprised.

i hate people accusing fast food chains.. my friend eats fast food all the time, and he is extremely thin, and i rarely (maybe 3 times a year) eat fast food, and im am overweight.. its not the fast food chains fault -_-

That's jumping to conclusions. All this proves is that being around him makes you look fat.

Yea, the stuff is great, and I will continue to eat it. I'm not blaming any fast food resteraunts for obesity (sp). I just thought people would be curious.

lol :D

I agree with electricmime, people accusing fast food is rediculously stupid. It's your own fault if you eat too much. I remember when a family had gone there for nearly every meal for something like a year, and they tried suing mcDonalds for the fact that they were fat . thankfully they lost the case....

I rarely eat there anyways, so i don't really care, besides, this has been old for a while.

...You may have been typing a post when I posted that.
My point was just that this stuff is UNBELIEVABLY bad for your body. I myself was surprised. Will I try and sue them for my fatness? Hell no. If anything, I will continue to eat there regularly.

What, people are just realising that fast food isn't good for you?

These people deserve to get fat, depressed and kill themselves.

I can't remember the last time I willingly ate at McDonalds. Hell, I can't remember the last time I went there for any reason. The food is garbage, the food is garbage, THE FOOD IS GARBAGE. Thier hambugers are thin and meatless, the fries are thin, stringey, and always have either not enough or too much salt. The chicken nuggets are nasty (I heard they've changed them, so no comment), and they ripped off Wendy's by having milkshakes you can't drink through a straw.
Not only is the food garbage, the fact that they chose a marketing ploy that completely alienates me as a caucasian male. And I'm one of the least rascist people on the planet, and yet I just feel the commercials are, just, uh, you know.
I'm not a healthy eater by any stretch of the imagination, I eat fried chicken daily, red rare meat, I smoke, I drink, I drink on an empty stomach, I pile hot pepper on my pizza, chicken, I pile pepper all over my steak, I salt my tomatoes, I eat cheese like it's going out of style and yet I still will not eat at McDonalds because THE FOOD IS GARBAGE.

Obviously, you've never had French Fries that were made with quality ingredients or by someone who doesn't spit on your food when you ask them to hold the pickles.

If the burgers give you heartburn, that is an excellent reason not to eat there, and yet you still do. Why? Is self torment part of your genetic scheme? Or do you also walk in to walls on occasion as well? That might explain things.

Uk mcdonalds are worse than any mcdonalds I ever saw in the states. I don't eat in Uk mcdonalds on the grounds that its not safe. The people there WILL spit/sneeze/jizz in yopur food.

I wouldn't believe MacDs own reporting on how much fat etc is in their food. The shakes are made from lard, for gods sake.

I stop at McD's for one thing and one thing only:
To take a crap!

They have great crappers and are conveniently placed along major thoroughfares. As far as eating there, I still think the sewer pipe runs back to the kitchen.

McDonalds does not have food. It does have food-like substances. Kinda like "nacho cheese" is "cheese", "McDonalds food" is "food".

I still eat there every once in a great while. The fries are pretty good.

I'm off to go get my own fat-bastard with cheese right now from MD's.

What I want to know is why can't they serve breakfast all day long - I know it's a grill temperature excuse that they feed you, but they have like 4 grills - Keep one lower for my egg Mc Muffins

manthabeats

I'm not very fond of their breakfast either, to me everything tastest the same. Same grease, same fat, same turtle waiting 30 minutes later.

in all fairness, its REALLY hard to screw up fries.. i think they only taste bad when they are undercooked/frozen.. and some places make fries better than others, no doubt.. but its very hard to make them truly bad
