Song info @ Shoutcast site

OK, I already know that it takes a little while for my station to appear in a search, and I can live with that, but what do I have to do to make it update the song info at a decent speed? When someone searches for my station, they see the title of a song that was playing 9-10 minutes ago! I need that info to be updated faster. If it's possible, please help....

These boards are filled with numerous observations of that same thing. It apparently does not update in real time. Of course Shoutcast directory is only one method of "advertising". Your own web page would be the most up-to-date and best way to announce your presence.

I figured that. But I don't know how to get streaming stats on my webpage. I used to use DoSomething, but it doesn't work with Winamp3. Is there some other method other than linking to the Shoutcast generated page, like by using php or something?
