What is FreeType internal TTF rendering?
I found out that in my skin if I disable it Winamp displays Japanese in the songticker but the font became ugly.
It does not display Japanese with it on.

Its to allow you to display Unicode to some extent. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

But disabling it allows for a correct locale configured system to display Unicode using correct fonts to a greater extent.
Disabling it leads to all TTF becoming white colour and the text in notifications becoming transparent with white shadow.
It disables Unicode when its enabled on my system.
But it does make the fonts look better and a few sizes smaller.

and when using the skin font mapper for the songticker font in shade mode, you are better off without FreeType internal TTF rendering...
But what it does exactly, I don't know.
Well, yes, it renders TTF internally, whatever that means... :weird:
