Hi all. I have been designing a new Media Player which will be mIRC based, and I hope to include the DJ controls for SHOUTCast if they will let me. I may want some active support from the SHOUTCast DSP designers/coders
If I am allowed, I would like to know
a) how I can get hold of the controls
b) any t's and c's of using the controls.
I have produced and uploaded some screenshots onto my local webserver, http://Js2000.DNSAlias.com/QbScript/images
Please Note: I am not online 24/7. I am normally online late evening through early morning GMT.
Many thanks
Jabbaman

Not sure why you think posting this in a forum that deals with the removal of ripped off skins and plugins is going to help you.
Moving this thread to SHOUTcast discussions, you might get some help in there.

I posted in here because I thought it was the most relevant board to use. I want to know from the people who designed and coded the DSP if I can use their controls, or where I can get them from.
SHOUTCast Discussions is miscellaneous, so I doubt the SHOUTCast coders would be looking through that board.

Good god, he's from good ol' England and can't read English. The only people who regulary go through the rip removal threads are the people who remove the ripped skins.
Absolutly NO support is available here, especially from Shoutcast coders.

if youre looking to code a new scast dsp or something along the lines, search the forums for whats called "the shoutcast whitepapers". they will explain the ins and outs of the shoutcast protocol.

Thankyou very much Vhat20. Yes, I am looking to code a new dsp. Once it is done, it will be available from http://js2000online.myby.co.uk/QbScript/download.htm
It won't just be the Media Player.. it will be a full mIRC with scripts (designed and coded by my friend Qb_Master on irc.angeleyez.net (AngelEyez Radio http://radio.angeleyez.net:2160). He says he will most definitely be putting my Media Player into it once it's done.
Once again, thankyou very much for your help. :)
