Winamp 5 freezes when i try to turn Shoutcast off! (PLEASE HELP!!)

Hello there hope you can help. I am having a problem with Shoutcast and is causing Winamp 5 to freeze / crash when i go to the Preferences area. then when I go into options it says something like "DSP/Effect". I then see there "Shoutcast Source for winamp..." and when i click on it to select "(none)" it Freezes and wont close the Shoutcast pop-up PLEASE HELP!!

Or...

If there is any patch or something that can fix this problem please also let me know.

Please read all stickys before posting.
The Bug Reports forum is for reporting bugs with the latest version of Winamp, and also for 1st-party plugins included with the default setup... only!
SC dsp is not included with the default Winamp setup.

The latest version of Winamp is 5.03 (with update patch (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=179096) available).
You are using some old buggy 2.x version
(the screenshot you posted is definitely not WA5).

The latest version of Shoutcast DSP is 1.8.2
You are using some old buggy 1.1 beta version.

Also plus the fact that you didn't supply any system specs whatsoever....
