Is there a way you can use your web site as a server to stream music?

For live streaming, no.

You could however create a show in one large file and people can access it and listen to it, however even in this case it requires alot of bandwidth.

The question is: are you gonna use your radio station as talk or for music?

If you're using it for talk then, its fine to use 24k.

If you're using it for music, then it may be a problem.

It really depeneds on what type of music you'll play. If you play Rock or Rap, then you don't wanna use 24k unless you really have to. Since it may become a little screwed up because of all of the loud music and/or high notes or beats. Whereas you can do a 24k stream with Jazz.

Just my 2 Cents

I use my own server I made from home on 768K up and I can handle about 12 people at 64K stream with out a problem.

Look into doing it yourself if you have the bandwidth, if you want a lot of people then rent.
