did you read the article? its ted turner who pulled it, in fact latinos (among others) are protesting to get it put back on, because they feel that it helped break stereotypes and was one of the only positive latino characters for decades

actually i found it confusing.. did they protest to get it back on, or are they protesting... i rarely watch looney toons, so i dont know if its back on or not..

I must admit that article looks like it was written by someone with some serious ADD. According to it there wasn't anyone who had any real problems with the cartoon. It was Turner's "preemptive" idea to remove it from the rotation. Bastard!!!

I just find it funny that a major company has a PC policy backfire :D
