Hi everyone:

Don't like porn? Uncheck the NC-17 box in PREFERENCES>MEDIA LIBRARY>INTERNET RADIO/TV under Internet TV.

It's as simple as that.

Like it or not, porn is here to stay.

Cheers for now :-)

Excellent post Jeepers One. You are absolutely right. Unfortunately the world of pr0n is here to stay, * However * that doesnt mean everyone has to deal with it.

Just post a notice on your station website that the adult content can be filtered out.

If there are stations that are purposely mislabeling porn streams with "G" or general audience ratings - then the mods need to be made aware of that so the station can be banned ASAP.

As of this time, there are exactly 7 adult stations + 4-5 SaltWaterPimp ones. A few times per day a spammer places 40 non working ad only stations on the list and they stay there until he is banned. Someone somewhere is working on a more permanent solution.

Yea, what he said. Several times a day I ban several IPs serving crap. Tom Pepper is working on a solution which should prevent them from being listed in the first place but until then please bear with us.

Hi everyone:

But that shouldn't have any affect on the legit porn streams, should it Tom?

I would hope not because I kinda like some of the DLDVDS streams (though I wish they would shorten that intro ad quite a bit).

Cheers for now everyone :)

No it will not affect any legit porn streams.
The bogus porn streams come mostly from gay ass AOL dialup, and apparently there is some kind of morale dilemma about banning the entirety of AOL dial-up from the AOL hosted TV listings :)

I would do it in a heart beat because I have to ban about 40 of the fuckers a day, and the list is getting pretty long.

You got my support Germ, who on an AOL Dial-up connection would/could run a satisfactory stream?

Exactly what I've been screaming.
This is low priority shit, so, it probably won't get taken care of for awhile. Ah well.

Hi everyone:

I know I sometimes run my webcam as a porn stream on a DIFFERENT instance of the SHOUTcast server at dialup bitrates which I don't promote and is flagged as such in such an obvious manner, you'd have to be DUMB & CLUELESS not to notice. (I also gear the audio towards WOMEN too) :) But at least *I'm* on a freakin' broadband connection (Not on AOL either), but it's a big enough of a challenge just to get AUDIO through a dialup connection.

I can't even imagine what a freakin' VIDEO stream (porn or not) must sound and look like. :(

Cheers for now :)

thats not what we mean, the shoutcast server is being hosted on dialup. supporting any stream off that, audio or video would be pointless.
