how on eart do i use this thing??? looks heaps more complex then paint shop pro... are there any good tutorials out there?... someone did tell me, but i forgot the link...

i'm sick of this photoshop, all the tutes assume you know what your doing... are there any tutes that don't assume you know how to use it? IE tute that teach you how to use the program??? i'm running around in circles and it doing nothing more then wear a track

hey that site was pretty good... i managed to learn the BASICS!! there was one link there in particular that was really helpful, http:/www.pegaweb.com the didn't assume i knew everythingthing, but it wasn't a "hold your hand step by step either" i learnt a whole lot more then what was just in the tute aswell... thanks heaps

does anyone know how to paste into a layer, instead of it creating a new layer with the pasted image???

You could just paste into a new layer, and merge that layer down.

Pasting into a new layer allows you to undo it later if need be.
Layers are your friend!

Easiest way to learn PS is to fiddle around. Didn't take long for me.

Lenore was the name of the woman in Edgar Allen Poe's poem, 'The Raven'. It was a project for school that I did well...maybe three or four years ago.

hahaha.. lol i had a weird feeling that lenore might've been a GF or sis, who'd passed away... well... a lass in a poem is no where near as dramatic, thankfully

Well, I did make my avatar in PS, but it was supposed to look bad.

I mainly use Photoshop for web design and skins. Some PS work of mine can be found in my devart page (see below).
