Winamp Playlist Square Select?

Could a feature much like in windows explorer where files can be selected by holding down the mouse button in a space and draging the "square" over files be added to Winamp?
It would make selecting mp3's a little quicker than by holding down Shift and clicking two files for a range.

May not be possible because the Playlist Editor is hard coded in Winamp.exe and there might be backwards compatibility issues especially with skins. Although you may already know this, you can "lasso" files in the Local Media and Devices views of the Media Library.
