ID3 Tag Completer

Hello....is there a program/utility/plugin that will scan all my mp3's and insert the year and genre of my mp3's into the ID tag automaically? In all my mp3's the artist and song title is in the tag, but very few, if any, have the year and genre. Programs that I have checked out so far work if you have all the tracks from a CD , then it does the above mentioned function. What if you only have 1 song from a CD?

hhmmmmmm.....I just checked out music brainz and it doesn't insert the data I need....the year and the genre into the ID tag. It appears that all it does is updates the artist, song title, album and trac into the ID tag....can you please advise?

I tried to delete the duplicate out of there right after it happened earlier this afternoon, however it wouldn't delete. Thanks, however, for drawing attention to it; showing your manly hood and showing the whole world that you can stoop to the inteligence of a pile of puss.

I tagged my whole collection by hand.

I wish I had the time. The genre would be easy to update...the year would be easy if all I had was 3 audio files.

Just import your files into the media library, and select the songs that have the same year\genre and right click > edit file info, and you can enter the same information for multiple files.
