i got a new dj for my station he is asking me what kind of mic to buy for webcasting,i use a mxl 990 but that requires phantom power whatsa good mic to recooment that has a 1/4 jack on it with out sacraficing quality?

I use a Schriber Acoustic SA-568ZM. It has 1/8" with a 1/4" adapter. My Dad got it for his video camera, and he never uses it. So I'm keeping it from getting dusty for him :). It is a good mic, but I don't know how much it costs.
