When I download from IE I get
winamp_x_v.10.wsz
My computer has no idea what to do with a .wsz file.
Can you provide me with another link or tell me what to do?

eh that is a winamp skin. This is a shoutcast forum, what exactly are you trying to do with shoutcast.

I have the server running. I have also downloaded the plugin
sc_trans_macosx
Now I am trying to use the plugin using winamp. The problem is I can't find winamp or macamp for OS X to make it stream.
BTW Anyone know a way to use the shoutcast server with itunes?
Another problem I am running into is, whenever I start up Shoutcast Server, it says, "Couldn't find sc_serv.conf -- assuming defaults". Therefore I assume that I can't change the PW or listening port.
I can assure you that the sc_serv.conf is in the folder. Is there something I should be doing to make sc_serv associate with its config file?
A smaller problem I run into is, on shut down of Shoutcast, it won't release port 8000 unless I restart. I try using the kill command in the terminal, but it doesn't let me. I guess I can restart every time, but seems like a pain in the arse.
Sincerely,
Someone who feels too stoopid to live.

sc_trans_macosx is all you use to source a shoutcast server. You won't need macamp, winamp or anything else.
If you see the Couldn't find sc_serv.conf error then you are probably executing the server from a different directory then where your sc_serv.conf file is (via a link or shortcut). So make sure you start the server from where the sc_serv.conf file is or specify the configuration files location at command line:
ie: ./sc_serv /path/to/sc_serv.conf
use killall sc_serv to kill the server.

Most people will only assist you on the forums.
Also, when I referred you to this post from yours, I only meant for you to check it out and see if it helped. If you still need help, please use your thread (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=189352).

Dam* I'm close!
I received an error. I have double and triple checked my path, but I have been staring at this for 2 days straight. Is there anything in the path name that would cause this error?
Usually, the computer name would have spaces in it. (not really my machine's name)
Fred Jacobs Computer
I assume it automatically puts the dashes in there to resolve the spaces, so I doubt that's the issue.
I put three songs in there, since I read that it automatically skips the first one. I even took all the spaces out of the names of the songs.
[MAIN] Error opening Fred-Jacobs-Computer:/applications/sc_trans_040/testsongs/50_dollars_Everybody_Loves_Me.mp3, skipped

It gives the same error with all the songs in my playlist.

Also, to correct the path problem, drag all of the files into your home directory... something is wrong with it when its other places.
