I know this is not entirely a artistic kind of posting but I feel that it is to me an art.

WATCH FIREFLY!!!!

I don't even know why I am doing this, but I think as I said in my other posting that I am in love with this show.

It is not one part of the show, but the entire freaking 14 episodes of this series, that I am in love with.

And that damn song "The balade of Serenity" writen by the producer of the show Joss Whedon is engraved in my mind now.

I know nothing that we can do now will bring back the series (as the idiots at fox has cancelled it), but I believe that sharing whatever that exist now gives this little piece of art a chance to live on in our hearts.

I cannot trully put to words what my feelings are right now. It seems uncanny to have such strong emotions tied to a tv show. But the fact stays the same.

Watch the show. Buy the DVD set. Keep flying.

Cancelling Firefly was one of the few good things fox ever did. Joss really messed up with that one.

Forget Firefly. Get BtVS & Angel.

As I remember the reason for firefly to have had bad reviews while on air (2002) was due to the erradict schedules and the messing around with their episode orders (which was caused by fox) that got them axed.

I only started watching firefly since monday(6th September 2004). And I watched it in the order that it should have been done (based on the DVD set). And frankly, I find it to be very well written and good to watch. The way it was done and the story telling appeals to me.

I like buffy and angel as well, but I am in love with firefly. That is all the words that I can use to describe this.

I would not assume to say that your comments are not valid. I would just like to implore that you try and watch it again in the order that it should have been watched.

If you know someone that has the DVD set, you might want to borrow it from them and watch it. I sincerely believe that it would make a difference. If not, then maybe the show was not meant for you.

All and all, I just wanted to share my new obsession with the friends I made here.

That's an understatement. My reason for not liking Firefly had nothing to do with the episode order. It was just never visually appealing to me. Joss' other two shows (BtVS & Angel) were, IMHO, so much better.

I sorta liked Team Knight Rider, and it was never shown in order.

Glad that we have that out in the open. Some shows are just more appealing to some and not to others. And that is a fact of life.

Appreciate your honesty on the matter.

As for those for those who have yet to form an opinion, please do try the show out. I know it is not finish and that it is already axed from production, but I think that whatever that is available is still something of an art. I can't tell you to like it nor explain to you why I do, it is just like that.

There is a movie that continues on after the series, it is called "Serenity", it deals with the same people and their story 6 - 8 months after the series last episode "Objects In Space". The movie is done and in its final stages. It will come out on April 2005, I am unsure that if it would be good, but I believe that those who are fans would love to see this show have a second chance and tell the story right.

I doubt that there would be a series production after the movie, but in my opinion provides joss a way to close the story properly for us all.

I hope I have not bored anyone with these posts of mine.
