Hey guys,

Anyone know the full calculation to get how many GB of bandwidth it takes up per month?

Linking me to the calculators isn't gonna help ;)

I tried this:
slots X bitrate X 60 X 60 X 24 X 30 / 1024 / 1024

But it came out with ridiculously high figures.

Anyone know the correct one?

hmm. lets try and break it down.

example bitrate: 24kbps

24/8 = 3kB

3*60=180kB per minute

180*60=10,800kB= roughly 10.8MB per hour

10.8*24=259.2MB in a day

259.2*30=7776MB= roughly 7.75GB a month.

so 7.75GB a month for a single slot @ 24kbps. multiply by 5 which is about 35GB and just round it up to 40GB and that will be one month for 128kbps. all for one slot.
