Im trying to get a test done to see if anyone can hear the boadcast.
I cant listen to it becuse when i tipe in the link http://68.50.99.156:8000/listen.pls or i change the ip with localhost it goes to listen[1] on winamp but last night i had it running with the song but that was though my router, i rerouted it and im trying to get it to broadcast though w/out the router.

So if you want go here http://68.50.99.156:8000/listen.pls
Tell me if you can get a stream... thx =)

In the plugin ive got the output config
set up so the Address is local host...
Should i change that to my IP? would that fix it?

can't connect to your broadcast

are you running a firewall? windows xp has a build in firewall.
you need to forward the ports 8000 and 8001 there also , just like in your router config.

Yeah i did that =/ ive bin messing around with my comp the last few mins... when i opened the ports on my 3 diffrent connections i lost any and all connection to the internet.. ive got it back up and running now but im behind a linksus router...
The ip for the router is http://68.52.173.40/ Im wondering what i need to do to get the link to listen to the stream now... i thought it would be http://68.52.173.40/listen.pls and it would rederect me to my computer but 3 comptuers on the network what do i need to do to get my ip though the router? so others can connect to http://myip/listen.pls

Opps well forgot to add in the port like http://68.52.173.40:8000/listen.pls I tryed that and it dident work i also tryed 8001 i totaly disabled the windows firewalls since they are just makign it worse and ive set up my router with the open ports.. i dunno what else could be causing a problem i just think i need my ip not the routers to get it to work =)

What is your current net config? Have bypassed the router at this point or not?
