Yes. It sucks the big one. As someone was saying in another forum, less people are perusing them because of school.

I for one, have never liked homework, I can never find a happy medium on when or how or why to do my homework. And it's getting into such a bad habit, that if it keeps going this way, I wont make it through freshman year.

The big problem in it this year is my new computer. I got it at the end of last year (with the help of squakmix and Myxomatosis), so i didn't have the time to realize that it would get in the way of school. Now, I've been at school for 9 days now, and it really sucks, I'm already behind. I'm just so hooked that I don't want to leave it.

The point of this is to ask, Does anyone have any ideas of how to increase the will or want to do homework? I really need some help here, I'm writing this very moment when I could and should be doing homework.

I'm on my 4th week of freshman year here, nothing will make you want to do it. Though cyu's idea doesn't seem that bad...

Then pay us to make another one!;) Homework is and never will be fun. But, of course, you must do it. Although there is no positive outcome of doing homework, there is a negative outcome for not doing it. Try subliminal messages.

yes, homework is stupid, and it is ruining lots of things for me including my future and my health. i came to the point where i just dont do it at home at all. i do it at lunch in school, between classes, and during classes, but my grades decreased drastically. i often dont even have time to do it at home as i work after school till 10:30pm and i have to get up at 6:50am. so i dont get enough sleep and my grades are going down. i dont have time for other important things i need or want to do and that puts me under a lot of stress.

school sucks.

I always did 95% of my homework at school or on the bus. To hell with doing school work at home when I have time to finish it durring classes. My high school was divided into 2 semesters. Each semester had 4 classes, for a total of 8 classes for the school year. So, each day only had 4 classes (which were 1.5 hrs long), with lunch after the 2nd clas. Also meant there usually weren't more than 4 books to carry on any given day. Durring my 4 years at high school, I never once touched "my" locker.
